Junior Achievement Inspire and Admire Breakfast
Wonder what Junior Achievement is all about?
How does it help students?
How does it help our community?
Why is it important?
How can I help?
Join us for our Inspire and Admire Breakfast where we provide all of the answers! At this free fundraising breakfast, you will hear about the impact that Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada's financial literacy programs are making in our community from business leaders, board members, educators, and students.
Please join us in celebrating our 16th year as being part of the amazing Las Vegas community. To date, Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada has impacted the lives of over 170,000 students and empowers them to own their economic success.
Junior Achievement is honored to have John Unwin, Chief Executive Officer of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas as the Keynote Speaker for the breakfast program. Unwin oversees the resort and was responsible for leading the multi-billion dollar, sophisticated urban-minded property at the heart of Las Vegas Strip project. With over 30 years of management experience Unwin handpicked his Senior Management Team to ensure that the unique properties standards were upheld. To learn more about John Unwin click here
Junior Achievement accomplishes its mission of inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy through volunteers teaching
Junior Achievement programs on economics and personal finance to students in their classroom. By connecting learning to earning our students have the inspiration they need to stay in school and receive the skills they need to enter the workforce.
This event is a powerful and emotional testimony to the commitment that Junior Achievement has to building a strong future for the children of Southern Nevada and is a great way to promote your company's support for our community.
At the conclusion of the breakfast, guests will be asked to support Junior Achievement with a financial contribution; however, there is no minimum or maximum gift requested and no pressure to give. All contributions will directly support Junior Achievement programs that help students in Clark County develop skills in the area of workforce readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. With your support, approximately 20,000 students will receive top-quality economic education this academic year in our kindergarten through twelfth grade programs.
