Their mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy, the Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada provides hands-on experiential programs that teach children in the Clark County School District they key concepts of financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. Their programs are based and meets Nevada State standards, as well as help educate and strengthen the future workforce of our community!

More than 40 students from Valley High School attend a job shadow event at UNLV’s physics department on Wednesday, May 25, 2011. The event was organized by Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada and sponsored through a grant by Nevada Workforce Connections.
